Fiona at Forty

'Bloodloss is a sport' is the latest work from fiona at forty and their first album. This band have a very completed sound, with great musical dynamic, great changes and beautiful melodies in the guitars and also in voices! They have influences from emo and alternative, and when you listen to fiona at forty you probably remember a lot of great bands since the first second of the second to the last one, and that's something that not everyone can do. A band that everyone like, it's impossible not like their sound! They play metal and hardcore, but it's always present samples, that full field their songs, and you start dancing! Their demo is so electrifier that you can't stop listen those 4 songs. All their shows have a lot of energy and people always show their agreement to them. My Fault

This band started in the begining of 2005, and they started with covers, and then with they'r own songs, into punk. But they had a big evolution and now rock songs, with melodic voices and a solo guitar player that drives you crazy with the tappings and all that stuff! This band is kind of a warrior band, they never given up, even if they can't continue, they fight. That's very important in a band. They are always but always ready to play live. Maylene and the Sons of Disaster

Do you like southern rock style? This band is perfect for you! A 6 members band, with a non stop sound, riffs since the first second to the last, an amazing song dynamic, great voice, the guitars will kick your ass! Formed in 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama, MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER immediately began composing songs and touring the southern U.S. In 2005, MAYLENE released their self-titled debut on Mono Vs Stereo Records. Tours alongside acts such as P.O.D., Throwdown, Zao and as part of the 2006 VANS Warped Tour (where MAYLENE was named as one of the tour's breakthrough acts), honed both the band's much-talked about live show, and stunning technical prowess. Hell in Heaven

This 5 members band, are portuguese and they're changing the portuguese underground, they give a lot of concerts and it's always an hell of a concert, in the end you can't move you're neck! A lot of headbangging. They're sound is very into southern rock, with a lot of ambiental, speed up sound with metal riffs, screams that will defently blow your head off! Comeback Kid

This is one of the biggest hardcore band ever! They are on tour right now and this sunday, 28 of october, they will play in lisbon (corroios). Go there, you will enjoy a great mosh pit and great music, among with awesome portuguese hardcore bands! This band plays a fullfield hardcore with a great sound dynamic, amazing voices and some speed up drums with great breaks. In vocals there is Andrew Neufeld, in bass Kevin Call, guitar Jeremy Hiebert and the drums Kyle Profeta. In 2006, lead singer Scott Wade left the band to pursue other interests and guitarist Andrew Neufeld took over lead vocals. The current tour line-up features Andrew Neufeld (vocals), Jeremy Hiebert (guitar), Kyle Profeta (drums), Kevin Call (bass), and Casey Hjelmberg (guitar). They've already played all over the world with great bands like Rise Against, Sick of it All, Madball, Bad Religion, Terror, etc. Latest album, Broadcasting awesome work recorded by Bill Stevenson. Un-Predictable

Un-predictable is a band only with feminin members, and that makes a lot of difference in the portuguese bands. They're from Lisbon and they've already played out of lisbon, sometimes that's difficult to do in Portugal, but this 3 girls did it! They play some punk rock and power pop, like them main inffluence (Blink 182), they're sound is very energetic, beautiful voices and a good work construction of the songs. In the drums - Diana, guitar and vocals - Catarina, bass and vocals - Cátia. They always give you something when they are on the stage, like moments of fun, good music, so we should give them support to survive in Portugal's underground!
